Feeling tired all the time? Well there are natural ways you can chase exhaustion away with a few energy boosters that are definite game changers. So get inspired (and some sleep!) with some of our favorite tips.

1. Keep your body hydrated

One of the first signs of dehydration is exhaustion, and it’s not necessarily feeling thirsty! If you chronically feel low energy or fatigue, start by drinking a cool glass of water. If you like to supplement water with something a bit tastier, try other options like coconut water or fruit-infused water. These options don’t have all that sugar in drinks such as Gatorade or Powerade, but provide a fresh flavor. A few other signs that you may not be noticing as dehydration include dizziness and having a foggy memory.

2. Schedule a friends’ night out

In need of an energy boost? Reach out to your closest friends. These people motivate and inspire you, and their energy is contagious. Anytime you’re feeling tired or run-down, your energy and mood are sure to get a boost by doing something fun and new with those you enjoy.

3. Exercise

Physical fitness is actually one of the best ways to increase your energy levels. Exercising gets the blood moving, heart pumping and endorphins flowing. And we aren’t suggesting you do high-intensity workouts 7 days a week…just start out by taking a 20-minute stroll across the neighborhood.

4. Get enough sleep

Tossing and turning all night is definitely something that contributes to you being tired. Organizing your sleep schedule better is the best long-term option for getting enough sleep, while natural sleep aids can also help. Other tips include: making sure to go to bed at the same time every night; don’t drink caffeine in the afternoon; and go ahead and take that nap, but keep it short...no more than 15-30 minutes.
